There's a huge line-up of personalities on the Main Stage at the 2016 Melbourne Boat Show!
Dave 'Mossy' Moss, Stage Host
Fishing Presenter and Enthusiast. Hosting this year’s Melbourne Boat Show stage is nationally known fishing presenter and enthusiast, Dave Moss. Having fished since he was 6 year’s old and with a pro-fisherman for a father, fishing is undoubtedly in “Mossy’s” blood.
With his vast knowledge and enthusiasm for fishing, Mossy delivers a highly entertaining and exciting show that will be sure to engage both kids and adults alike! See him as he hosts the main stage of the 2015 Melbourne Boat Show, in addition to presenting the Shimano Fishing Tank.
Shimano Fishing Tank
Featuring at the Melbourne Boat Show is the Shimano Fishing Tank which will be hosted by nationally known fishing presenter and enthusiast, Dave “Mossy” Moss. This show features a 10 metre long fishing tank that is divided into two sections, one for Barramundi and another for Bream and will provide show goers a great demonstration of catching and releasing the popular fish.
A big part of the activity is when Mossy gets a kid from the audience and brings them up on stage to catch a fish, right there, on the spot. An release it back of course.
There’s heaps of fishing and casting demonstrations and prize giveaway including $500 plus, each day in fishing gear from Shimano, Lowrance, Evinrude and Gamakatsu. Don’t miss out!
Paul Worsteling, iFish TV
In 2016, Logie Nominated TV Fishing Celebrity Paul Worsteling makes his return to the Boat Show as one of our great new ambassadors for the event and our ongoing Life’s Better with a Boat campaign.
Paul is known all over Australia for his passion for family and fishing and today travels the world filming his highly popular iFish TV show.
As an ambassador for Life’s Better with a Boat, Paul will not only appear on stage at the show Friday, Saturday and Sunday, he may even offer a couple of lucky kids the chance to fish with him in Kids Fishing Club at the event. Make sure you are at the 2016 Melbourne Boat Show for what could be your lucky day!
From a young age Paul's passion for Fishing was clear. He put into practice, steps in building a life around what he loved doing (fishing), with support, mentorship and hard work. With the love Paul has for his wife Cristy and son Jet paramount, he is also a Multi Tackleworld store owner and Host of Australia’s most popular fishing show IFISH.

Lee Rayner, Fishing Fever & Adventure Bound
Lee Rayner is a key Ambassador for Life’s Better with a Boat and a headline presenter at the 2016 Melbourne Boat Show. A regular on TV screens across Australia, Lee has a passion for everything fishing. The fish, the gear, the boats and above all the places we all go. Lee and his family regularly go fishing in wonderful locations around Australia and at home we get to watch a whole lot of it on TV.
As an ambassador for Life’s Better with a Boat, Lee will appear on stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the boat show. He’ll offer tips and advice, places to go and what to do when you get there. What’s more Lee is keen to get more kids fishing, from the beach, the river, the jetty or of course on a boat, Lee wants to help more kids get out there. Stay tuned for more.
Owner of Fishing Fever Lee Rayner is no newcomer to the fishing game. Lee began fishing from an early age and his first part time job was at his local tackle store The Alpine Angler.
Lee’s training and experience came from the biggest names in fishing- Shimano and Rex Hunt. Lee worked for both companies before moving into the television industry and presenting on the national television program Rex Hunt Fishing Adventures, co-hosted his own show IFish and is now host of Adventure Bound.
Lee has released numerous DVD’s including the most recent series Whiting Tactics, Bluefin Tuna Tactics and Snapper Tactics. Lee is also a regular writer for many of the major fishing magazines, has written two books and is a presenter on radio 3AW and 3SER.
Lee is fanatical about all types of fishing but he does have a great passion for game fishing which shows through the extensive game fishing section in the store. Lee’s goal was always to open a tackle store of his own and to make it the best tackle store around and he has certainly done that!

Darren Finkelstein is The Boat Guy with over 35 years of boating experience to share.

Paul Cater has been presenting his talk on squid for many years and always draws a massive crowd. Because he practices exactly what he preaches.
Paul is a big guy with a big personality and loves nothing more that time on the water catching fish, squid, shark or whatever he is targeting. With a growing media profile, Paul looks set to launch some new things in 2015 so watch this space.
A keen supported of the Life's Better with a Boat initiative, Paul is only too keen to impart some of his wisdom on the newbies and the experienced alike.
