Step Aboard the Historic Lady Cutler
Climb aboard a remarkable piece of Australian maritime history.
The Lady Cutler will be docked at Yanonung Quay for three days of the Show and will not sail, giving visitors the chance to step aboard, explore the historic vessel, and enjoy its unique waterfront atmosphere.
No booking is needed—simply come aboard during opening hours, have a look around, and stay for a drink or a bite to eat.
A maritime icon
Built at Newcastle’s State Dockyard and launched in 1968, Lady Cutler was the first of Sydney Harbour’s modern Lady-class ferries. She carried commuters and visitors across the harbour for more than two decades before being brought to Melbourne and extensively restored.
Since 2008, she has operated on Port Phillip as the Melbourne Showboat, preserving an important connection to Australia’s shipbuilding and ferry heritage.
